Not the usual PAS, heater blower, rear demister question

    But similar.

V reg VTR, totally standard. Car sat for about two weeks, then when the owner went back to it, the PAS, fan and demister didnt work. I had a look at it, and thought it was probably the age old ignition switch. Checked the switch with a multimeter though, and its reading continuity on all three plugs so should have worked. Just in case, I swapped it out for a known good other ignitiion barrel but that didnt solve the problem.

Any other ideas what it could be?

    Thanks

You didn't mention that you'd checked the fuse?

You've probably checked it though. But those 3 are on the same fuse, so obvious answer

checked all fuses, but theyre ok.

Took out fuse 2, the 25A one in the passenger side of the dash and put in the multimeter probes to check for power to it. With engine running, its seeing just over 1v (which obv isnt right), and when I turn the key to the next click back to stop the engine running it spikes at 2.3v and then gradually drops down to nearly 1v again.

    I am stumped.

Have you actually tried the tried & tested fix yet mate? Also check all the relays too.

nah not tried the fix dude, reason being the other ignition barrel didnt fix it. Might just try getting some spades and cable to try the fix, cant see it working though.

What relays are related to the pas, heater and blower?
