Coilovers!

Hi guys ive bought some coilovers from ebay...http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/4003011186...84.m1497.l2649

Turns out they have no way of connecting to the drop link or track rod ends....my brother who is fitting them says there advertised wrong and wont fit.

Wondering if anyone could link me some recommended springs / coilovers for the front??

    thanks in advance

L0L... No way of connecting trackrod end or drop link?

Don't think your bro know's what he's doing.

As the front dampers go into your original struts. You need to hammer the old spring pan off.. then fit the damper / threaded coil / springs.

It is a shit kit though. But if you can't get your money back.. might aswell put them to use.

EDIT: last few pictures show how coilovers are fitting into the original strut, Don't need your brother now

the coilovers have no affect on the track rod end/ drop link

The current coilover situation for saxos/106's needs to be stickied on here. As far as I can see, the budget coillies on ebay (unbranded/vmaxx) aren't worth buying due to various issues. The cheapest decent set of coilovers about are the Gaz GHA's and then theres a few others available at much higher prices.

I've seen so many coilover threads on here with LSO just explaining the same thing to person after person!

as the lads have said above but to add to what they said the track rod end and droplink attach to the strut not the damper . your bro can surely see that the shock insert has no affect on the droplink/trackrod end placement
