Saxo Needs Your Help!**

  1. #1
Guys, im in need of some slight help!

Switched on my Saxo this morning and ive got black smoke from the exhaust and around 10 seconds of grunting from time of the ignition. Now it happens almost every time i start it.

Now i think i might have too much oil in the engine, could this be the possible cause, because oil is meant to be blue smoke, according to the web... ive cleaned out the air filter on the car this morning ..... ; - Im hoping this is not the car on the way out due to the milage!

Please expand your knowledge onto me, im more of an IT Person, not cars...

Any help would be much appreciated!!!

I'd full service it, flush everything. Then put some decent fuel cleaner in, and rag the shizzle out of it.

Black smoke is generally fuel. Injector issue or suchlike potentially.
