I'm still nOt completely with you. You mean like spiral wrap (JML style) or...?

The skill is in hiding them move everything you can inside the car.

ya pretty much like jdm sytle hide most things and have the block sprayed and same with the engine bay brings out the engine more and makes it look alot cleaner then it packed with hoses and wires

I already have mine bare - only 6 wires in my engine bay multiplug

LIke I say - move everything in the car. You've done your main fuse box - have you done the other box too? Got a pic of how it is at the moment? I'll try and help more

Unfortunately the space I saved hiding the wires and moving the fuse boxes kinda got filled with other crap lol.

Nightmare to keep clean though - just had it redone in black for this year! Not quite as thermally efficient but less hassle!

any place could get made a rear diffuser in carbon and one to go under the engine bay asweell to keep it clean cause am thinking off spraying the engine??
  21. #21
ross your bay is mint..but it must take some up keep?

i wouldnt want to drive a car that looked like that in the bay
  22. #22
Thanks man. It was pretty bad but I've changed a lot since that photo. Everything is black (EVERYTHING) so should be lower maintenance. Although there's a few surprises Bling bling this year

    ahhh mate

i liked the white!! im all for white, but as said..bet it was minging after 30 min drive?

You can wash it off but it's grease that fucks it - no joke, burned through probably 20 pairs of gloves fitting it to keep it clean. And my engines been in and out like a yoyo so it got pretty grubby.

Promise you'll like the new look don't you worry

  25. #25
    that does look good tbf..

pm me cost ross...for mani if you dont mind..i hear it aint cheap..but keeps temps down alot yeh?
  26. #26
Temp reduction was insane. Under bonnet and after engine off. I can hold the manifold 3 minutes or so after engine off. Do that with a raceland

Price for my manifold to be coated was £380 in white. X2 if you change your mind like a knobber... FML

    lots a pennies haha

you at trax this year? would like to see what a car with an extra 100hp or so goes like
your running about 320 now yeah? or back up/down?
  28. #28
Won't be at trax no mate - prob come as a spectator. Car still totally stripped. Only got some glass in the other day lol. No wiring, engine, brakes, nada. Moved house and stripped of all time with DIY unfortunately!

Will be around 350 ish I'd say. Certainly no more.

You can let me have a drive of yours if ya want

On a serious note, I'll bring my performance logger (AX22) for you to run if your going on track? We'll get some proper specs.
  29. #29
wont be on track..ive got to find an engine and get it ready..fit it..get it mapped..sort my interior

wheel refurb and new tyres or im no there myself..body work will have to wait

you should know i like to cut it fine

ill let you drive it no probs if you catch up with me there mate, be weird comared to yours id imagine
  30. #30
I'd love to drive it mate. Honest always said I'd let most people drive mine so will return the favour! Mines been off the road for almost a year now so trust me, yours will still scare me
  31. #31
dont expect too much and you should enjoy it mate

its a bit rough round the edges but i built it to drive not to show...only reason i bought my first saxo was because they were so cheap..cheap to mod and fix

i FUCKING HATED saxos before i bought one...but after doing lots of Renault gearboxes in i thought i needed a change

built this to drive but love it as well, half the reason i dont want to put masses in..i want to drive it to its potential...if i put too much in ill be like half of the "track cars" on here...never see a rainy day or a track for that matter

not that i blame them..money that goes.
