hi guys its a long way away yet but i want to know now rather than later

    my plans are
    oil cooler,
    twin fan,
    cat cams 743's
    re-map.

    im now looking at tb's
    http://www.kamracing.co.uk/citroen/c...6-16v-vts.html

and was wondering how hard they are to set up? any additional parts i need?

    just curiosity really

1 step at a time as the saxo is off the roads

not hard at all they bolt straight on, you cable tie the iat sensor to the brake bar infront of the trumpets, buy a colvern cp17 TPS and splice that in inplace of your oem tps, the ICV, MAP and RP senors arent used and can be remvoed from the wiring, then its jsut hook up fuel lines, throttle cable and i sued my oem injectors and wiring

what kinda bhp would i be looking at after all my plans and tb's and a remap?
  4. #4
i got 155bhp with bodies and catcam 708's so might make closer to 160bhp with 743's

sooound cant you run standard valves and pullys with both 708's and 743's though?

yea standard everything with those cams, tbf mate unless your going for forged pistona dn wild cams id jsut stick to camming, my old housemate tom5190 on here has a cammed (743 cams) 16v in his flatty and he has 151bhp and is almost identical to mine in a straight line, bodies are only really worth it to supply wild cams with enough air but 743's dont need bodies to run so basically the only advantage is the sound of them and just so you can say your have throttle bodies, i got my bodies for £360 so a £1000 saving over new so id ont mind too much as i havent sunk a ridiculous amount of money in to having them

Get about 5bhp... Barely even notice it tbf.
