Buying a Saxo VTR/S

    What are the general things to look out for when buying a VTR/S?

    Ok had a skim through this, I was looking more for any brief signs to look out for when buying a vtr/s, like some of the common ones

    Rear axel is the main thing, if the wheels have play in them then its likely the axel is knackered and depending on the price you pay for the car you will be looking at around half its value to get it replaced with a new one.

    Oh cheers for that, Is it only possible to tell if there is play in the rear axle while the car is jacked up though?

    not necessarily, you will see camber on the rear wheels usually however checking for play will have to be done with it jacked up as there will be too much pressure on the wheels otherwise.

    rust in boot floor, rear axle and obv signs that its been crashed, same with most cars tbh
