Squeaking when cold

   Just had my mate on phone who has a phase 2 1.1 saxo and he was saying his car has developed this squeak when its cold. Reckon it gets louder when revving as well. Anyone got any ideas? As i didn't :/ He said it seems to fine once running warm.

   Well i did think that when he said when it was squeaking but it doesn't squeak when it warmed up, would of thought it would squeak no matter what the temp of the engine is no? ? ?

   No because it squeaks when the belt is cold, as it spins round a few times and gets a bit warmer/pliable it goes.
   Will more than likely be alt belt

   yeah i'll be fine on that part cheers, not a complete moron Just thought if it was the alt belt it would squeak all the time. Clearly i was wrong. BTW i'll text you about that unlock i need if i get paid the right amount friday if thats alright chap
