Saxsport on now with standard mani or later with 4-2-1 ??

    I have just bought a saxsport and i am going to get a 4-2-1 mani soon. The manifold i have on now is the standard mk2 vtr one. To get the best sound out of my exhaust should i wait and put them both on at the same time and let the saxsport wear in with the new mani on or would it not make any difference to the sound later on

    people say silencers wear in.. but ive never noticed it.
    just put it on!
    with the cat it will be quieter than with 4/2/1 but they do make a little bit more noise than standard. I actually really like the noise with a cat mani and saxsport, or any other exhaust, its sounds sporty but bearable on a daily drive imo

    yeah! the standard manifold is very restrictive and silences alot.
    mine was prob 10db louder for a 4/2/1 , had a toyosport and raceland, the toyosport was the better of the two

    The Saxport will sound pretty quiet with the standard manifold on the VTR but when a 4-2-1 is fitted it will sound pretty raspy

    Won't be that raspy on a vtr, would be on a vts

    Arnt 4-1 alot quiter then 4-2-1 till they get higher in the rev range 421 are suppost to be louder lower down? might be wrong dont quote me on that hehe

    my vtr with a 4/2/1 is pretty noisy! wouldnt have said its quiet. VTS are louder though and a saxsport will be more raspy than most! Pipers are the most raspy in my experience
