Is a 4-2-1 phase II mani ment to be really close to the oil filter ??

   I have put my phase II 4-2-1 manifold onto my mk2 vtr and it is really close the the oil filter. I have hear wraped my mani and made it really thick next to the oil filter but would the oil filter melt because it is made from plastic

   Nah you'll be fine, super hot oil in oil filter. Compared to heat wrapped manifold.

   I would keep an eye on it mate just incase it does burn through as Ive seen it happen even with heat wrap

   What 4-2-1 manifold should i get that would be further away from the oil filter

   ive had mine on for a year right next to oil filter and never had any problems mines so close i cant even get anythink round to unscrew lol

   I was looking at there website and it says they only do phase 1 manifolds and it wont fit a mk2 vtr

   I had the racelnd one, was fairly close but never had any troubles with it.. I wouldn't worry mate

    they also have versions that you bid on aswell so could save a few extra quid that way too.
    but i have this system too, to be fair to a budget mani its pretty well made and aint too bad steel used and fitting was a piece of piss, comes with everything you need too.
