Manifold problems :(

    Just wounding if anyone could help.
    I've got a 4-2-1 manifold but it is touching the sump crossing oil to seep out the gasget on to the down pipe under the sump I have resently put the heat rap stuff on to it but still leaks corsing it to catch fire would it be best to get it bent or chop and weld it lower but the other problem is I don't have alot of ground clerence cuz I am lowerd and suggestions ??

    It is the right one I must of knocked it or someone has when they drove it as I am lowerd lol nd I'm not shure what brand it is tbh :/

    being lowered won't make the manifold sit any closer to the engine you realise that right?

    Sounds to be like its bent to fuck!

    Also you havent had the lower gearbox mount off and put it on the wrong way up? can cause it to hit the linkages and maybe other things if its been bent?

    Yeah I know that lol this is what im trying to find out if it's worth trying to bend it back or chop and weld it

    I wouldn't bother with either, just get a new one.
    Bend it back will just cause the bore of it to go smaller and be a proper mashed shape, welding it after cutting or whatever your thinking just isn't worth it for a mani that you can pick up for under a hundred quid

    No mate it's all on correct I'm guessing the manifold has been bent lol but it's still to hot for it causing it to leak oil from the sump :/

    True but I'm just thinking for temporary as not alot of money at this moment in time
