Name that manifold

Mates manifold, no idea what it is. VTR obviously. Any ideas?
  2. #2
    supersprint almost 100% sure.

edit.... however not sure if they had a top lambda sensor hole but looks the same!!!
  3. #3
just by looking at it its mild steel and the design looks like sportex manifold lol
  4. #4
It's deffo not a supersprint. I don't know what it is, but it isn't a supersprint for sure. The two middle headers come down parallel/together on a supersprint:

Its not a Supersprint - it has rust on it. The Supersprint 801101 is only made in stainless version...
  6. #6
Yeah shouldve said its obviously mild steel.

Never seen one like that with a lambda boss in the 1st branch.
  7. #7
seen those on ebay many years ago with the lambda in one runner of the exhaust. Cant remember the same. Bad placement of the sensor though.
  8. #8
    bob!

  9. #9
both these manifolds are wrong , as the lambda probe is taking only gas value from one cylinder ,so if that cylinder runs rich or has an oil burn due to age then other 3 will run lean

looks like an old sportex! not many now made in mild.

hence, an old sportex. not an old model of sportex...

    Worth much?

It's not a janspeed or sportex!

Pretty sure it's a John Ashley one!
They have the lambda in the same branch

    my money is here ^^

that is a very old mani lol

i had a similar one a few years back that was mild steel (had lambda in correct place though)

after a long time searching i could only ever pin it to being a miltek mild steel..as lower flange was smaller to fit their exhaust

still to this day dont know if its true though

its got some letters on but very hard to make out, seems to be a code rather than an actual word

And yeah they a temp fix as old ones got pulled out when i hit a raised manhole

I thought yours was maybe a Devil as I remember it being a fairly unusual design. Not sure if thats one of them though.

Yeah it bent the flange and pushed the joint up, pulling out those two threads at the end, they have been re tapped and have those bolts in for now as its all I had
