2000 VTR 'S conversion

    Anyone know what loom mods are required for a 2000 VTR

    hoping to put my single plug VTS engine in.

    Is 2nd fuel line required? different sender in tank?

    any hints/tips?

    There is a thread in the FAQ section covering all the things you need such as throttle cable and fuel lines etc. In terms of loom you either need the correct loom for that age or a splice.

    Plum never used a second line when he 16v his vtr. I put the second line in when i did the cage ect.

    You would need to swap the vtr fpr (on top of the tank) with the vts (on end of rail), and the put the vtr one in the end of the rail.

    Vts is 3bar..vtr is 3.5bar

    Obv then the fuel system will be at 3bar for the 16v lump.. So nowt will come out the return on the rail.... As it would need to be over 3.5 to open the vtr fpr

    Wiring... Who knows lol!

    exactly what i did on my 16v posi vtr 2 years back

    loom wise someone out there makes adapter looms to just go between the 2 using an old engine plug wired to the interior plug if that makes sence

    cant remember who used to make them though :/
