gbox oil topup

   do you no the black plug on the top of the g box that you pull the cap off , is that the g box oil topup

   Gearbox top up is on the side of the box near the inner wing. Just up from the drainer. You need a 5mm square socket.

   Or you can top it up by taking out the reverse light switch. If you know were that is mate.

   Yes the black plug is a top up but for an empty box, so youll measure fill it, whereas the one on the side just by the tin plate end cap is for top ups really...

   The breather, I always fill the box up through this.

   Its got to be one of the easiest cars to top up gearbox oil on, I just use the breather too. Or drain it as much as you can then bosh 2l in, but ideally you want to leave upper plug out to measure the level
