    no

X reg will be 3 plug ecu..or at least a crossover

    wont fit your chassis plug.

    ^^

still wont fit a single plug loom

would get away with running it on the vtr loom and vts ecu IF it was a crossover..pretty sure the single plug looms are near enough the same

but to save head aches its best to have the gear infront of you to match what you need off the bat.....

most X will be single plug crossover tbf..now i think about it..was Y when the were majority 3 plug..but have seen many x reg 3 plugs

Yeah my black was an x single and my blue one is a y 3 plug...

You say this will not work. I have 2 cars 1 vtr 1 vts they both work perfect so why can I not swap everything over
  7. #7
My vtr is 3 plug ATM
  8. #8
You can swop everything over but it would have to be everying unless you can splice the looms.

    Chassis plugs will be diff

Couldn't even do it on the R loom even if it were a crossover actually(we know its not now but still couldn't anyway), now I think about it without a head full of beer

The vtr ecu side plug on single plugs is diff to a vts plug as well

So could only do it on a single plug westy/furio loom

Thanks for all your replies , there's a guy up the road from me selling a vts for 400 quid . So just to confirm it will work as long as I change everything ?
  11. #11
Yes everything being you change the whole loom inside and outside the car

    Thanks for your help guys

if you have a vtr complete and a vts complete , why dont you just use the vts instead of converting ? when its already there driveable ?

op just buy a 3 plug vts loom and ecu and 3 plug engine sensors to make your single plug engine compatable with 3 plug loom. will be easier than changing everything then once its running sell the left over bits

do you know which sensors need to be changed between the mk1 vts sensors, and mk2 vts sensors?
