Be4 hubs/mount setup..

  1. #1
Who can supply some machines hubs after a pair of machined hubs (plus spacer) for the be4 setup?
Also after the top gearbox mount?
I'd rather buy off a one man band then extortionate prices some companies charge

we sell these, but we use new genuine drive flanges, but the bearings and drive flanges cost like £100 per side? so not cheap unfortuately.

iirc these are £125+vat per side, as a ready to fit, pre machined item, from myself.

you could probably source your own drive flanges from a scrappy and get new bearings and take them to a local machine shop for machining to save yourself some money, but depends what they will charge to machine them, plus you need to sort out the spacer rings, but maybe machine shop can do those too?

as for upper mount, i usually only sell the mounts as a pair, but i could probably do an upper mount on its own. we have changed the design slightly, and they are TIG welded, so much neater than the earlier versions.

upper mount only £50+vat (with high tensile nuts/bolts (new genuine peugeot g/box mount bolts)
lower mount £100+vat (with high tensile nuts/bolts, rose jointed, anodised adjustable lower linkage etc)

    hope thats helpful

Use a later 37mm bearing. No need for spacers, just machine them to the same dims as an ma hub with a shoulder.

I'm guessing you make the faux-pas of buying from a dealer.

    drive flange-

    £37 http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/...8eb72f3&000602

    good quality bearing -

    £25 http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l/...c4b7882&000370

that'll be £124 delivered for the pair.

That's very useful, thankyou very much for the links. It gives additional options that way.

no probs nice shiny shit of decent quality rather than grubby scrapyard stuff and questionable motorfactor wheelbearings that seem oh-so common these days.
