Vtr to Vts

    Alright troops,

    I bought a whole Saxo vts 52 plate with some front end damage car still runs and drives perfect, what would i need or be best things to change before I put the engine in my 2003 saxo vtr, Thanks

    Mske sure the chassis legs have not moved was the impact minimal

    Eh?? He wants to use the VTS engine in his current VTR...

    They are both 3 plug cars so its pretty straightforward

    Take the engine, loom and ECU from the VTS, and implant into the VTR. Use the existing sensors on the VTS lump. You can run the VTR radiator etc, but it's recommended to swap the a VTS rad also (but I'm guessing that's knackered from the crash...)

    its my vts he has, hit a lorry tyre doing 80mph on the dueller. only damage is radiator, bumper plus chassis leg is a touch bent. well where the towing eye is. think he was asking should he rebuild the engine, put a new clutch in it, ect ect. hes my mate and was mainly in it so knows it runs alright and pulls fine

    That's good then bud, thanks Yeah the radiator is gone like ha, but I could just buy a new one of them with the double fan too.

    Yeah will keep you's updated, work stupid hours so will try make a start to it this weekend

    Before you remove any motors from either car unlock the ecu! Search the forums it will show you how, very simple

    what about the fuel return? can we put that in or just block it off?
