anyone used these before?? intake temp kits

    just spotted them, for the price they could be a nice addition...cant help but think itll break after 2 weeks..but if not it could be a nice addition

    only gripe is...where to mount it without causing a boost leak

    mines mounted on a vacumn takeoff on the inlet
    not the same model as the one in the link though but same idea

    i dont have any spare, would have to have somethign welded into the boost pipe to take it i think

    bit off topic i guess but what sort of temps should you be looking at acheiving at the inlet on a boosted 16v?

    under 50deg is a good target to aim for at peak power

    As mark says on my old intercooler on a hot day you could feel the drop in power above 50 degrees
    Since having the pro alloy fmic made ive yet to see it go above 25 degrees unless sat in traffic and getting heat soak

    sounds like the alloy ic is the way forward then!
