uprated fuel pump - increased fuel pressure??

   I have been told a high pressure fuel pump and regulator makes a diffrence to performance is this mod worth doing? cost vs HP increase?
   What pump? What regulator? does this mod go hand in hand with a remap? What pressure?
   
   I like the sound of the FLAMES!!!

   Reading between the lines then...lol
   
   You will indead get a big head ach when you start consumming large amounts of oil then the car dosent start due to loss of commpression caused by bore wash!!!

   increased fuel pressure on it own without any other mods will do nothing but increase fuel consumption and cause bore wash as others have said. The ECU doesn't know the pressure has increased so continues to open the injectors for the same duration, resulting in much more fuel being used.
