dials

    hi there guys i have the 1999 saxo eastcoast im wanting to change the dials from the standard ones with the clock in place of the rev counter to the with something like the vtr dials is thats possible ?

    You`ll need to find the correct pin number on the ecu then run a wire from it to the rev counter mate.

    steve - can you confirm (or deny!) on the 3 plug cars you don't need to do that? I'm under the impression the cars with two connectors on the speedo cluster are all interchangable and the wiring is in place to run all the dials - ie, a 2002 poverty spec 1.1 can fit a vts cluster and it will magically "work"?

    oh lol. Don't know if you know then, but the early clocks have three plugs, and the later ones have two. I *thought* all cars with clocks that were two plug could be swapped around no fuss - the cars wiring was all in place just "not connected". Bit like the poverty spec cars wiring actually has the loom for electric windows etc.

    hi there guys bought some dials with the rev counter on it its the early clock like ross said i know what i have to do except when it comes to wiring it in i take i have to wire into the ecu but which terminal would it be ?
