    Hi some help needed please my car is a 1.0 mk1 and iam woundering if its possable to put and induction kit on it? any help would be great thanks

    Yes mate, BMC cda or a simota induction kit. won't make much difference really your betting up keeping the money for and engine conversion like a 16v thow.

    think you both need English lessons! you can fit a induction kit to any car , but on a 1.0 your seriously wasting your time, rather get a decent exhaust or get it lowered ect...

    Iv seen an incredible increase in power on a 1.1 with an eBay cheap and a decat pipe. 7.1 BHP increase. Fit me mate well worth it and induction roar is always fun

    I was at a rolling road day at Surrey rolling road. It was someone else's car I was writing down all the results, most people seemed happy with what they were getting. You gotta remember cars that low have very restrictive intake systems.

    We all were lol, but proves people talk out their arse in this forum too much. 7 BHP for like £60 for two cheap parts off eBay. Bargain.

    well i do deliveries in it so its just a work car i can easily cover 500 miles in a week so swapping the engine for something bigger is never going to happen i am all about mpg iv not removed intake system yet does a filter just sit on top? the de cat replacement pipes, is there any off the shelf? also does anyone do a egr blankfor these? i think rr ur car after mods is always a good idea as if it turns out ur mods have lost u power then its better to know then u can put it back to standard surely isnt it? then sell the mods on thanks steven.k

    Fual economy will go out the window of you stick a induction kit also if I'm right the position won't help as all it will do is suck in the hot air from engine if you won't a little gain go for a panel filter, other than that not worth doing engine mods
