vts/gti loom help!!

   right as some of you may know my engine is now dead and need to drop this new lump in asap!
   ive been looking for a gti loom for ages but just cant find one, but , there is a 3 plug vts loom on ebay but i know it wont match the interior loom on a 106, is there any way round it?
   
   please help

   Get a vts in car loom or splice it,
   I got a remapped vts ecu for sale in next few days.

   Your 106 is a late 3 plug isnt it? 2003 reg?

   Take a photo of your chassis plug, all 106's of that age ive seen have the late pin layout on the larger type plug which is the same as late saxos.
   
   Basically you should be able to fit a late mk2 saxo loom.

   ah shall do tomorrow pal, my cars at work being kept there till its sorted so shall get a photo tomorrow !

   possibly, you need to check the pin layout, have a read of that thread i linked it shows the difference.

   but just to clarify , if i do have the later bigger chassis plug , would a 2001+ vts loom have the same plug?

   it should fit mate but the pin orientation could be slightly different i had to have mine re-pinned. and my looms were both from vts's of the same year it was wierd

    just need to get my car back on the road asappp!
    might just drop a vtr engine in tbh for now so i can take my time and find an appropriate loom!

    i would defo try that loom how much is it sitting at just now. as i say the plugs will go together
