Any difference in these induction kits ?

    I am looking to buy a induction kit for my vtr 106 and i would like to know if anyone has used either or even both and knows any difference.

    Which ever one i get im going to buy a green air filter for off kamracing.

    But is the ebay kit going to be a piece of crap or not ?

    The only reason i ask is cause its alot cheaper

    That eBay one will be fine, its more the quality of the filter that's important

    Buy the ebay kit,then change the filter over for Green one mate.

    The ebay kit is much lower quality but you get what you pay for.

    i still think that filter has a lower surface area than a standard filter.

    It probable does to be honest but i thought that it was more about how much air the filter lets air pass through it which wouldn't just be down to surface area would be how thick the filter was ,the quality of the filter and the spacing of the fabric etc etc .

    Please correct me if im wrong ...

    your absolutely right! Thats why i personally really like K&N or Green or in fact any other decent brand that provides a replacement panel filter.

    yeahh ill be running the double cone green filter , with the kit that red one in the pic will be going strait into the bin

    ahh sorry i just got what you said; is the standard filter plastics not restrictive though as the plastic shrinks and gets bigger again on mine then goes right down to that small rectangle end piece ?

    Hi sorry I'm new to this don't no if in in the right place but I wanted to no if the engine in my 1998 Citroen Saxon x 1.1i is mpI or spi I don't no what this means lol why I ask is I wanted to put an induction kit on it but when look online mpi and spi what keeps coming up is it the trim

    It took 15 minutes from asking the question to making your purchase. You have to give us a chance!

    As for the standard filter on the kit. We reckon it will only flow enough air to be ok on a standard VTS. 125-130bhp max. If you do any mods its only good for the bin.

    I didn't realise that kamracing was actually on here or i would have waited to hear from you.

    The standard filter on the kit is going strait in the bin anyway

    Iv ordered the green filter from kamracing to use with the kit the twin cone one ie Green air filter - B2.65BC so should be good for mods in the near future?


    I bought the one on the right twin cone
