hi all looking at dropping a 3plug vtr engine into my series 1 106 xs personally i think it should be the same as dropping the vtr into a 1.1 saxo/106 ph2 but a few people have said its hard to do?

i have the ecu loom and all ancillaries with the vtr lump and my xs is the single point injection model..

does anyone have any experience or info on this? thanks

all you need to do is chop the two chassis plugs off and wire the s1 106 one on to the vtr loom

or you can change the interior loom to the vtr one which will make it plug and play and you will use the digi dials, not sure how well the plugs would plug in to all the electronics behind the dash though ie the heaters etc

but its not the end of the world if you have to fit the saxo dash but i cant see it coming to that if you didnt want to swap
