If giving advice at least give the right advice!!!

You may find them in a parts place, though most garages have a local fastener supplies place that they use.

    m12 x 1.5 thread pitch. I believe they are 40mm long.

Don't think they are 12 x 1.5 that's standard pitch for m12 and would be very unusual to use that size in this sort of fitment

    More likely a1.25 pitch

Taken directly from service box the caliper bolts for those using ventilated discs only is M12 1.5pitch 35mm length

As the car noted above is a 1.1 it'll be using non ventilated discs which use a longer bolt. It should be a 4stud 1.1 if its 2000 reg therefore will still be M12 1.5mm pitch but service box doesn't list the length due to being part of a fixings kit

If you want to buy new the part number is 444973 which is £3.17 listed as set fix caliper

    Hope that helps

There are plenty of 1.1 saxos in scrapyards, not overly likely they will snap I've never heard of one snapping

Why not just go to citroen most bolts from them can be ordered for next day they are o.e quality and are brand new. Also only cost around £1 for a caliper bolt. (just ask for trade prices)
