As above im thinking of keeping the vtr as its in good nick and dropping a vts lump in. Is it an easy conversion?

As long as you get an engine and loom from the same year as your car it should be plug and play

Just don't get into the situation where you have to splice your looms as I shall be doing that on Sunday and not looking forward to it!!

yh it is not too hard to do as long as you know what you are doing. but personally i would keep it they way it is you would probs get more money for a tidy vtr.
good luck on what ever you do

Up to you but your insurance will most likely go up (if you tell them what your doing), don't really see any vts' for sale so if you want one this is maybe your best option

I was tempted too get a m8 to give me a hand doing a vts conversion but i thought its prob easier just too buy a vts but if i do decide i will need a engine out of a 2000 plate and the loom and ecu is that everything depending on how complete the engine is when bought
