99 Saxo Won't Pass MOT

   Is it worth getting another ECU (or whatever else I need) and throwing any more money at it? Won't pass emissions test. Put in new lambda sensor and temperature sensor and the emissions didn't go down.

   Put the cat back on it... That's if you have de-catted it obv....

   They do a Pre-mot emissions reducer, some bird i know didnt pass mot in her Audi A3, she chucked that in on an empty tank, popped in a 10r ragged it down the motorway and it passed

   As they helps point to where you need to be looking for faults!!!
   
   When was the car last serviced??
   
   You would be surprised how much a clogged air filter can affect things

   not sure what was out, just told emissions are too high.
   
   bought car with 12 month MOT last February so I assume it had a service then.
   
   Not sure about the air filter, took the housing off and that was OK, will have a look at the filter itself tomorrow!
