Has anyone ever fitted the 2.0 16v from the gti6 or 206 Gti?
If so, is it a big job or will it pretty much drop in?

There's alot of info readily available in searching, not the easiest conversion to do. Waste of money to most people.

It has been done before , the main problem i recall is wheel scrubing on full lock due to 6speed gearbox beeing slightly bigger

I know of a couple of people that have done it..
Bic's is the most well known car I think.. Except he used a sadev sequential box.

If you use the 5 speed be box you don't loose any lock, if you do it id use the ew alloy engine like bic did and not the Xu cast book
The 6dpeed only sticks out due to the engine being wider, if you put the 6speed on the tu you don't loose any lock
