Look for a decent second hand one on here.

    Buy cheap = buy twice

can only speak for the centre section, but its not stainless its just a slightly better metal than the standard pipe. i bought one cos my supersprint snapped after 4 years, and was desperate got hoffman, its smaller diameter pipe than standard and will rust, mines been on roughly 4-5 months and its showing signs of rust

Got the centre section on my vtr at the moment and everything is fine nice and solid been on there for months

I needed a centre section for the BRM, so I went hoffman, I would never buy another, I swapped it over after about a month for a standard one as it was shite.

I bought one it wasn't very good afterall. The measurement under the car is not quite correct so it bangs and taps on either the heatshield, rear axle, or somewhere under the body of the car and i had it fitted correctly. Just go supersprint...

Had a Hoffmann Centre Section on my Corsa, fit was perfect, quality wasnt bad, the only one on the market you didnt have to cut your existing and sleeve on (at the time) all for £38... best £38 i probably spent on that car, sold it on, put standard GM part back on, and it had a hole in it not long after, so will be buying another Hoffmann soon! (well.. my brother will.. gave the car to him)

Does this just fit straight on to the vtr? And what's the benefit?
  11. #11
Yes it does fit straight onto the VTR, and the benefit is it has no middle silencer unlike your VTR, so its essentially a racetube/straight through

Might have to invest in one. Think the are only £20 or something like that.

so for a mark 2 vtr, putting a mark1 manifold + this pipe is the cheapest decat solution??
  17. #17
Youll have to fuck with oil filter/lambas for the mark 1 manifold
