Consider all the 8v engines to be much of a muchness when it comes to boost There's lots of info on the forum dude, you just gotta dig it out The sticky threads are a good place to start

Have you been fiddling with yourself over sax-p again Ross?

Also give Blackie_2k5 a pm on here he knows 8v turbo's like the back of Ross's ball sack and will help you out.

Also have a read of this.

    Of course

Real men don't boost the 8v anyway... 16v is the way to go

You will need to alter a lot. Or change bits.
.ie. weld a return yo the sump.
    Spark plugs
    Injectors.
    Smaller oil filter.
Id say a minimum budget of £500 if you bargain hunt
Dont forget decompression for the head

Feel free to correct me as im only halfway through my turbo build

    If it's a budget build, don't bother.

you can use standard compression (no head de-comp or double head gasket)with sympathetic fuelling and ignition timing if running low boost

5-6psi roughly.. any more or for reliability then either of the above will make it a bit safer. Depends on your budget and how much your willing to spend.

Just make sure the mapper uses a knock sensor when mapping eh Ross
