Engine trouble

   Hi guys, I'm a little new to all this.. I have recently brought a 1.0l Saxo and I am having a little trouble when I ease off the accelerator the car becomes sluggish as if it wants to stall. Can anyone tell me if this is a common problem, can it be easily fixed?

   I have this on my VTR- going to have the ICV cleaned - Is yours ok when driving, just when you have to drop gear or from starting?
