Simota induction kit, ... , not sure on exhaust but big and would spit flames if straight through That's how.Quote:But yeah chipped for 135bhp 1 user thanked this post: -
#8On happy rollers.. easily do-able.
Full exhaust system does release some power.. but mearly regains what has been lost.
Parkers says 7.6 secs standard..
I've stripped everything out / put a low mile c2 vts engine in / full system inc de-cat / green cotton enclosed induction / full race engine mounts / 1.1 gearbox
After this.. my car just beats a new seat cupra bocanegra to 60 everytime. And that's down on the books as 7 secs to 60.
So yeah. You might of knocked half a second off like I did.. Hardly a big difference but feels much more fun to drive.

#16Well this is cute.
Clearly this site isn't as much use as it once was, full of annoying trolls.
Rolling road says it's 135 and that's not necessarily even with modifications... I think the mods were put on after...
Keep in mind I've just bought this car so I'm going by paperwork and known mods.
Bored of kids attempting to be witty trolls, not even successfully.

#17"kids" Sure.

#18If it truly is 136bhp and still weighs in at standard weight i'd guess somewhere around the 7secs mark tbh.
Who knows though really? Get it timed?1 user thanked this post: -
#19135bhp before mods?!Quote:Well this is cute.

#21Clearly you quoted the wrong post there.Quote:I was thinking more 200hp+?
Not sure though, maybe 300+?
No maybe 400+
What about 500+
look how witty I am lulz.
You are telling people on one hand that your car is 136bhp as it stands and then on the other hand asking if an exhaust and air filter will enhance this. Now it doesn't take a genius to realise that adding "performance" mods will enhance performance but to believe that your car is 136bhp as standard as you are saying is just silly. -
#22Upoading now
-
#23
Mainly because you can't rev them setting off
. After 80 the boc has the edge.. Thats a standard one anyway.
He's had a full system and remap now, not done a '0-60 battle' yet haha. But he pulled away alot more from rolling 2nd-3rd. Sounds epic too!

#25to be fair you would have saved the comments you didnt want by going to a private road and timing yourself you might only get 8's or 9 seconds but a well seasoned race driver might get some mid 7s so if someone gave you a answer it doesnt really mean anything if you haven't got very good clutch control you can loose 2 seconds just pulling off badly and you can loose alot of time with crap gear changes so a car thats capable of 7 seconds with and average driver behind the wheel it might be 10 seconds but that's just my opinion
-
#2699whp dosent translate to 135hp at the fly thats why. That would mean a loss of around 30+% which is wrong. The most your looking at is around 15% which would translate to you actually having 115hp the RR figures are shit thats were your problem is.1 user thanked this post:

#27can you get to 60 in second?2 users thanked this post: ,

#28Why is there no lb/ft on that graph aswell?
-
#29post up the whole graph...
and the car reg on it as well...
and a picture of your car... -
#30its hardly trolling lol just making you aware that it probably isn't true
-
#31Thanks all

#32Thats what I though, Seems miles off, Unless the gearbox is ruined?Quote:99whp dosent translate to 135hp at the fly thats why. That would mean a loss of around 30+% which is wrong. I had my car on a dyna pack a couple of months ago and that made 135 ATF, come to 117 ATW.
I dont understand this stuff fully, but it does seem like a huge gap there -
#33Nah likely done on an inputted loss rather than a measured, which in itself dosent make an RR shit its just when an inputted loss is a stupid figure.
Bottom line is you cant get a cars HP figure from a rolling road, only a WHP figure and even thats a calculation rather than a measurement. Therefore its only really worth quoting WHP figures from RR's but again you get a huge varing value for them from certain roads etc.
If you want an engine power figure then it needs to go on an engine dyno. But all dynos are only really as accurate as there setup. You can manipulate dyno figures easilly. On dyno dynamics for instance a guy showed me an accurate figure from a car, had a play around with the system and got another 20hp from it.
If you got 117 ATW and 135 at the fly thats pretty much bang on 15%. 15% isnt the figure for every car thats just usually a realistic figure to go from certainly for TU/MA configurations. Others maysay that even 15 is high and its more like 12%.4WD for instance its alot higher.
I ran my car with a knakerd gearbox and a good gearbox the WHP was 3hp down so not alot at all.
But for you 117whp/135hp sounds right. I made 126whp/151hp. -
#35Cheers for quoting me even though that wasn't my post...Quote:I was thinking more 200hp+?

Anyway, clearly you're not getting very far with this so as i said before...go and get it timed if you're that bothered. -
#36Time yourself if you're that bothered. asking for trouble IMO.
