Indicators and Hazards not working

  1. #1
a few days ago my indicators seemed to only start working a minute or so after starting my car, now they just seem to work when they want, when they go off I try my hazards as well but they don't work either after a while of playing about with the stalk they start working but then go off seconds later, can anyone help?
    Cheers Sam.

Is it me or is it faulty stalk season recently?

Anyways try to warm the stalk up gently with a hair drier. They don't cope too well with moisture. If that fails to change anything then you need to change it. http://www.saxperience.com/forum/sho...d.php?t=449772

Seen that a a few pug/citroens before. Much easier to deal with on a 106 as you just aim the blower at it and drive on it, comes back after a few miles.. Just be careful to choose the lowest setting and not burn it.

so I just heat up the actual stalk for a while?

Having same issue, however i'm either having bad luck or something else is wrong. Just replaced stalk and still having problem although i have worked out it may having something to do with the hazard button.
Indicators sometimes cause a tick in the fuse box (and nothing happens) and sometimes they don't cause a tick and still nothing happens, and sometimes it works for 5 mins then stops. Relay perchance??

I put new lights on my 1.1 the other day and i have to press on the hazard button to be able to use the indicators. With out the button being pressed they dont work. With the hazard button on there is no hazards or ticking that its working. Is it a fuse or have i wired them wrong. Please help!

The ticking in the fuse box is the indicator relay in normal operation it should tick mate.

Did you do any wiring or were they direct replacements?
