vtr ones might be a close match i wouldve thought might even be exactly the same but why?? they are a lot of money for no gain what so ever

i only just bought a red top rad hose after id done everything i wanted to do to my car/engine and had money to waste tarting my bay up a little otherwise i wouldnt have even bothered fitting them you could probably get a vtr/vts conversion for the price of a full samco kit lol

Ha I'll have a look at the coolant system on a 1.6 then. ha that's really the reason why i want to get them as well is to give it a little more style. i'v also got to the coolant soon anyway. Would load a pic of my engine bay but not sure how. Lol

the Major difference between a 1.1 and a VTR is the hose from the bottom of the Radiator to the engine block on the drivers side is a good couple of inches longer on a 1.1 to make up for the smaller radiator fitted to the 1.1..

yeah you may aswell mate, but if you really want to upgrade your cooling system that much fit a vtr/s cooling system as they are pretty easy to do

A lot of vtrs had the smaller read mine did , when people do 16v conversions on vtrs one of the main points is to cut the longer vtr hose down to fit the larger vts rad
