Event : Electrical Problems....

   Hello all, newbie here.
   
   I've bought a 1.1 3dr Saxo after having my Corsa written off a little while ago and unfortunately have realized the power steering doesn't work, the rear heated windscreen doesn't work and the fan doesn't blow any air at all, as well as the temp gauge, rev counter and fuel gauge not working either. I've had a couple of other things i've had to fix to and just to add another problem my passengers seat has started getting difficult to put back after putting passengers in the back, any ideas?

   Dear F17MJB,
   Firstly, I think what you may need to do, is to check and double check that all of the wiring and connections etc, so that you can be sure that this is not your problem for the reason why so many of your electrical items are not working.
   Secondly, your problem may just lay with the contact box on the ignition switch, if so these are not cheap ( approximately £ 130 plus another £ 50 for each new key to be programmed plus VAT ) This is supply only not fitted and they are only available as in one peice, not seperately.
   So if I were you I would as I say check and double check again to make sure you are right in your decision.
