[Q] Tuned VTR power?

   What sort of power are you looking at from a silver top VTR with:
   
   Full induction
   Cams (no idea which yet)
   Ported and polished TB
   Ported and polished head
   4-2-1 straight through to back box
   Lightened flywheel
   Remap
   
   And other small things like FSE power boost valve etc.
   
   I'd like to think this would see 130 at the fly, would love to know what's needed for 150!

   you wont get that out of a VTR, be lucky to see 110 out of a VTR with them mods.
   
   N/a isnt the way to go.

   Depends what vtr your starting with.. 90 or 100bhp... For the 100bhp you might add 20hp... But for 150 you need real deep pockets... Standalone management, itb's, slutty high comp pistons, matching rods, large valve kit, higher poundage valve springs, wilder cam, lighten and balanced throughout...
   
   Thats ontop of your headwork and full exhaust system... It gets expensive, the only people that really tune 8v are racers that have to fit in with class rules... I changed my class so i can run 16v

   My engine was 157 at the fly.
   
   s2 rallye engine
   QEP head
   Atspeed valves and headwork
   Sandy brown gsxr itb's
   cat cam 645 and pulley
   omex 600 mapped by Atspeed
   406 injectors
   
   
   thats on a std bottom end too.

   What's actually going on: got a 306 1.4 (considering every engine I can think of) just another TU was easiest to fit haha.
   
   Why'd I come to Saxperience? I wanted people with TU experience, where else is better ?
   
   Anyone know what power you'd be getting out of a VTS with the mods from my first post?

   Vts with them mods? Will see atleast 150 I'd guess, mine made 149.3 bhp with cams, exhaust nd filter, no map
