Hissing from new icv

  1. #1
    Hi all,
I have just fitted a new icv and it seems to be blowing for some reason from the corner. The new icv came with a new o ring which I have used but is there meant to be another gasket there?
I have uploaded a picture to show where abouts the hissing is coming from, so if anyone can offer some help or advice I would really appreciate it.
    Thank you
    Tom

Appreciate that, thank you. I've got an awful feeling it could be in upside down!
After looking at the old one it looks to be a pattern part. If it is I feel rather stupid lol.

How much did it cost? I would of went to a dealers personally like. More expensive i know but at least its legit.

I paid £30 for a Green coolant temp sensor.

I paid about £40. It was the only one euro car parts listed. It's made by Meat & Doria. If you've ever heard of them?

I use a cheap one lasted all of a few weeks before going fault. One from citreon are over 100 quid, but do work a lot better, and didn't go fault. It still on a running engine now 3 years on working fine.

I think mines finished as well, gonna have a look at some point, see if i can clean it out, when i unplug it, it dont change revs at all, tocking over about 2k... Had a look at the ebay ones... Just until i sort out some bodies...

Hmmmm bodies ))))) I sorted it on my lunch today the o ring was to thin, I had to use the old o ring instead. Should of noticed but I didn't. It still didn't sort out the bunny hopping and jerking at low revs though and andysaxo I agree about using main dealer from now. I think I will get one from Citroen as the revs drop to 1000 then take a few seconds to settle to normal ( 850)
