Jp4 jp4s head stamp

    Do you know if the jp4s has the S cast into the head or just jp4?

    Trying to find out and google only shows jp4, doubt they'll cast the head different just to add an S

    Imagine it's just assembled accordingly at production?

    Thought so

    Trying to prove a point on fb but lad hasn't got a clue, got a jp4 lump and trying to sell it as c2 vts

    Doesn't believe c2 vtr runs a jp4, he's convinced his jp4 engine with plastic inlet is a vts engine and has 120bhp lol

    C2 VTRs have 8 valve engine apparently

    Even when shown pics of a vtr and vts c2 engine he still can't grasp it

    Then, in comes.. C2 vts engine with gti cams and a diesel box = rapid

    I swiftly left and let them get on with it

    tell him to stick his vin into servicebox, same part number for the head casting

    Just the cams and valve springs differ, C2 vtr is 110 16v, vts is 125, plastic vs ally inlet.

    guess you know all that though.

    Showed pics of the two diff engines

    Still I'm wrong, I've just let him get on tbh lol
