    Hi all
I've got a saxo vtr and the revs seem to drop realy slowly when you rev it not like other where they come down quick and responsive have done a full service an cleaned the icv.
I've done a search but everyone else seems to cut out aswell where as mine doesn't.
    Any help would be great

Heard something like the other day,& the reply was a faulty tps/map sensor.Try unlugging the battery for 1/2 an hr.

Mine as the exact same, guessed it was just the way it is.

The VTS drops straight away though

Most likely to be a sticky or collapsed throttle cable

Or the routing of the cable is causing it to snag

Don't think it's ment to be like it. Never youst to be! And my mates doesn't do it either, would a blowing exhaust effect it ?

Can't be the cable as I took it off and controlled it by hand at the inlet ?

If you put your hand over the throttle so no air can get into that way and the revs still drop slowly the only two other possibilities are the idle control valve or you've got an air leak from somewhere.

Mine does this and my exhaust is blowing at the middle pipe

Take off idle control valve clean it up, or buy another 1 mine did exactly the same thing put money on it this wil solve ur sticky rev problem
