exhaust heat wrap... HOW MUCH??

    hi, gonna be wrapping my manifold its a 4-2-1 how much heat wrap do you think ill need? a mate at work did his mx5 one and said about 15m... sound about right?

    Same on my vtr and 16 stainless ties or a roll of tie wire, prefer the tie wire looks and works better in my opinion.

    Live with my dad he don't mind as he does the same had worse in the front room

    Its a lot easier on your hands if you soak it for a few hours in water.
    You dont end up with the fibres everywhere

    My dad once came home, walked into the kitchen and I was rebuilding a cylinder head on the kitchen worktop. He looked at the head, looked at me, said "alright" and just went into the living room.
