Rev Idle Problem

   Hey, just bought my first Saxo, its a VTR, 2000. I have noticed that when im sat at traffic lights and i put the car into neutral the revs idle, but then every now and again the car will rev slightly only about 1 or 2 lines above and below idle.
   
   Anyone else come across this problem? Anyone any tips of how to fix?

   Your idle control valve needs cleaning mate.

   Also sometimes it may be a battery that's dying or not giving enough amps (then bad earthing etc, check your wires), so your ECU kicks in to get more revs and push the alternator. So either ICV or test your battery.

   As already said it will need a clean and it's still doing it you may need a new idle control value!
