Exhausts?

    Are the exhausts for the phase 1 and phase 2 saxos the same? I am aware that the Phase 2 have the cats in the manifold and the phase 1s are in the centre pipe etc but my problem is I have a Phase 2 with a 4-2-1 manifold then in the centre pipe it has a silencer, unless its a cat? But I think its a silencer and it has a big hole in it and is blowing big time and the car soooo much slower!
    I want to get a race centre pipe but I can only find race centre pipes for phase 1s??

    yea its a silencer in your center pipe, you can either buy a mk2 center pipe or if you can only find mk1 pipes (cat back) then you can combine that with a mk1 de-cat pipe to make up the extra length but it shouldnt be hard to find a mk2 center section..

    Wow theyre expensive! I have a 4-2-1 manifold and Chip who sold me the car said it also has a full system without any silencers, just a backbox, then when ive looked underneath it looks like the silencer has been bodged and welded in?
    SO not sure what system I have one already!
    Anyway hoffman race centre pipe for a mk1 saxo is £45??
