Quick cat question

  1. #1
    Hey guys,

Will a saxo 1.1 cat fit AND be sufficient for a VTS to pass an emisions test at a MOT?

Would be connected to a raceland 4-2-1 and a magnex centre.

    Thanks.

    Not sure dude....

Sorry for the hijack but are the cats on the vts mk1/2 after the manifold??

I was under the impression that they were and only the vtr had them incorporated into the manifold but after seeing a few posts its got me thinking its possibly otherwise.

    That's what I thought.........

In fact this is what my understanding was

    Vtr models

Mk1 cat in Mani and the mk2 after the mani

    Vts

Both mk1 and mk2 had the cat after the mani

vts always has cat under car
mk2 has it attached tp manifold
mk1 has it under the car
I think that mk1 1.1 cat will ne diffwerent pipe size than a vts ,so it will not be a direct fit --check pipe sizes
if it fits then it will be fine for mot
