Turbo on std compression ?

   Hello, made a thread befor but now i have new plane for my 16v engine.
   So i have td05 16g and will go on 0.6bars i have all parts what i need for, but i was thinking to lower compression with two head gasket or decomp well but now i read some thread and think is it better to get one 1.9mm headgasket and little lowered comp. or to headgaskets. The electronic will be MS2.
   I searching for 200hp

   DONT LOWER THE COMPRESSION!!!
   
   Get the fuelling and ignition correct, 0.6bar is fine, 200bhp is fine

   The compression will lowere only with 1.9mm or 1.77mm headgasket

   a low boost turbo on normal compression will have a great responsive throttle. Leave the block alone and spec the other parts accordingly.

   is that ms2 --as in megasquirt or was it meant to say MF2 --as in extra injector driver

   ms2 mean - megasquirt 2 right, so the engine will be ok with this boost and that spec.

   Mines been fine for the last 4k miles with 0.6 bar at std comp.

   Think he ment mf2 which is the injector signaling driver, you can get this from gmc, who is just who told you about it
   
   Predator ecu runs a megasquirt based software - luthor1 in thia theead sells them

   Im warried about detonations in engine with only 1.9mm MLS ?
   The use car for everyday so i hope to not blow the engine.

    If you increase the gap between piston crown and flat cylinder head face, you will INCREASE detonation problem - your main issue is that you cannot control ignition with the MF2.
    
    You need Standard compression, and proper engine management!!
    
    Mine is an option, obviously, but *ANY* engine management system which allows control of ignition and fuel is what you need
    
    I just feel we are going in circles with a couple of these boost/compression threads possible language gap maybe?

    luthor1 i inderstend what you say to me but for sure it hase language gap.
    I know for your managment system but here i have better price of ms2 and i will get it from
    here.

    Ok that's good then, if you are good with the wiring then you can wire it in yourself and save some money

    luthors ecu is not same as MS2 --and uses std loom plug --i doubt you will get any after sales help as you would from him
    or a map on the ecu which will make it run as soon as you plug it on

    Do you think on standart compression i will have really bad detonations. My mate told me he try the same spec on 1.6mm head gasket td04 turbo and on 0.5 boost the engine has really hard detonations and they take of head again and take a twin head gasket. But he only remap the std ecu i will use standalone ecu.

    If you have detonation, you must look at your air fuel ratio, adding fuel and removing ignition will cure the det. Using better quality will also help.
    
    What are your afr's when det is happening?

    Not the HP killing the clutch, but the torque. My one was slipping every time i press the accelerator.

    Standard clutch isn't much for boosted cars, especially turbos as the way the power is delivered.
    
    The cover pressure is just as important as the type or friction material so make sure both are upgraded.
    
    Clutches that are good for 200lbft are sensible money - have a look on GMC website.
