can i adjsust idle speed on my furio?

My furio doesnt seem to like starting without a blip of the throttle. And when it does start its quite jerky in first and second gear. And when pulling away seems like the revs drop more than they should when you let the clutch up. It idles at just under 1k rpm. I dont know what the idle speed should be but my bike had similar symptons which where cured by adjust the idle speed. Also seems quite sluggish if you stamp on the loud pedal at around 2k which makes me think it could be something else.
I really dont have that much of a clue tbh so any help would be greatly apreciated.

No you can`t on a saxo, the idle control valve is non adjustable.Tickover rpm when stationery is around 950rpm.

Actually most have a screw on the throttle body so you can lift it

They really dont need much adjustment though tbh just a tweak

shouldnt need to adjust that though, otherwise why have the idle control valve? incidentally, it could be that at fault, that or the vehicle speed sensor on the gearbox

Its one of those things the icv will only do so much
On a few 16v ive had to tweak it or have seen it be tweaked

When was it last serviced?? As that should be your first check with poor running!

I serviced it a month or so ago so fairly recently. And im going to try removing the air filter and spraying carb cleaner into the icv to clean it. Hopefully that get me somewhere. Stevo said the tickover should be around 950 rpm which mine is so its clearly not the idle speed
