They stopped pre orders for day one edition in august..

I'm going to walk into sainsburys here when it opens on release day, so if i can pick one up off the shelf.. If no, I'll wait until after christmas..

I live in a small town, so shouldn't be too bad to walk in and get one.. Did it with GTA and they had hundreds of copies.. Sure they have to legally sell some on the shelf, and not just all pre orders don't they?

Think people will struggle in cities to get one just off the shelf

The second round of pre orders isn't out until the end of december, so i don't think you will have much luck picking one off the shelf a week after release.. People would just do that and cancel the pre order if they were going to be on shelves

Don't have to keep every game installed.. If you have fifa 14, then fifa 15 comes out, you uninstall fifa 14 don't you.. Swap ones space, for the other.. some games will be 40gb.. That's not what i was getting at though. I know both are 500gb but the PS4 you can change the HDD's.. so not much of a problem. Where as the One you can't so you'll need to buy a big external HD..

Ask for a job at Sony man. You start saying you need to install xbox games like thats an issue, but the ps4s the same. Then you say about the hdd being upgradable so much more easily (paraphrasing) on the ps4 but theyre the same essentially. Just stating how it is. Basically since you CANT upgrade internal HDD's or even store game install's on external HDD's (bar music, vids etc) i'd say that's pretty shit.

I think you will find the PS4 and Xbox One are the same regarding that

as for 4k tv's it isnt looking great for either of them..

IMO they both should of came with 1tb inernal HDD's and both supporting external HDD.

They said it will be on one of first updates so you can use external hdd and thinking about it I dont ever own more than 5 games at once so not much of a big problem but there is alot of awesome looking games.

Can't see it been a nightmare.. Not trying to argue, just putting a point across.. Going on the 39GB figure.. Say you can get 11-12 games installed.. Does anyone constantly switch between 10+ games at a time?

Me personally, go through phases of playing 2, maybe 3 games, for maybe 6 month periods.. You can always uninstall a game, but keep the game save..

Say you have forza, and don't play it for 6 months, you can delete the install of the game, and keep your game saves.. 6 months later, want to play again, install the game (takes 10-15 minutes on the 360, i can only imagine the ONE does it quicker) and you're off again..

Only people who will have a problem, are people who maybe buy a game, complete it, then swap with friends, play that, complete it, in which case, once you give the game back, you can delete the install again, and the space is free...

I see no issue of HDD size, at all

Online on BF is epic mate, not played BF4 yet personally, but if 3 is anything to go by.. One minute you can be smashing a tank through a wall to find the cunt who was shooting at you, next spawn, you could get a chopper or fighter jet, and end up in a dog fight, bail out after a while, parachute down, and be in the front line action again!

Such a diverse game, unlike cod where there are 4 or 5 attacking lines you can take.. BF, you are pretty much unlimited to go wherever you want, to make your own attacking line.. I take tanks up to hill tops, and rain shells down into enemy positions, then can blaze down the hill, and get in close with the mounted machine gun!

The thing I love about BF is the fact you can either go and do your own thing OR play as a proper squad.

Conquest is a good example. You fight over 3 - 5 flags. Quite often i'll just take a stroll around the side of the map and walk up to their flag from behind. They're busy fighting down the centre of the map and i'll just walk right by.

The problem with COD is that the maps are just corridors.The corridors force you towards each other. The free roam aspect of BF is excellent!

BF is certainly worth a purchase!

domination is as frantic spawnkilldie play as cod. less bits to camp, you can spot people for team members to see (harder to be a camping bastard!). conquest etc are amazing for team play. Smoke canisters etc makes it more tactical, and omg the vehicles.

down to opinion i suppose. But i used to be cod daft, played bf one year and never looked back.

Doing the same, i'm sticking with GTA online until i have a ONE, then i'll get BF4 bought for my 1st game, and not be on it for a good while! That's how good battlefield really is! Even the 1st PC game, back about 10 years ago was awesome, spitfires and the lot!

Scott, to give you an idea, earlier on a prick was buzzin about in a small helicopter and got up a few kills. my mate bagged a .50calibre sniper rifle, took aim and put a bullet through the back of the helo bulkhead and killed the pilot.

Im going to be selling mine lol After all the buildup Ive realised Id be paying nearly 500quid to play Bf4. Most of the launch games are getting mediocre/crap reviews except for Forza; Ive played that already and while its fantastic, i find Forza and GT get boring really quickly. As such, nothings really taking my fancy enough to justify the machine.

i got one dude. The switchiny between two apps from exactly where you left of is mental. Controller is really nice with no dead zones in the sticks. Skydrive sharing of clips through the in game DVR is awesome.

But. The biggest but is the party chat system. It was amazing on the 360, very intuitive and worked perfectly, but now theyve made it - as far as I can work out - impossible to party chat with people playing different games. Wtf.

COD is a kids game. The maps are just a bunch of corridors forcing players into each others path. On top of that, campers make the game a nightmare, merely because of the way the maps are.

Battlefield is more of a proper war game. There's a lot more strategy and team play with Battlefield.

theres as much run and gun in Domination game mode on Battlefield as there is on COD. But as Jay says, youre not forced down a couple of corridors, theres a smaller section of the normal bf maps that your all running about mental in.

Quickscoping is highly annoying in COD. I like both but for different reasons, I like that in COD the maps aren't so big that you run around doing nothing for regular periods but then I also like that in Battlefield you aren't ring fenced into oncoming fire.

Battlefield on the One doesn't have the periods of doing nothing. There are double the players so a lot more action.

Believe me dude, that is a load of bollocks. I know everyone online is saying this but honestly, it's not true!

So far I have 2 hours 27 minutes and 24 seconds in the game. I've currently got 182,279 credits, 7 cars and i've completed 24 races.

It isn't grinding money like people are complaining about
