Boost gauge reading

#2If the engine is running idle your throttle is closed.
It depends where you run your take off, before or after the throttlebody.
When it's ran from behind the throttlebody you will get a vacuum reading as the throttle is closed and the engine is sucking in air.
If I were you I'd leave it like this. -
#3This is how it supposed to work. It will be on zero only on full throttle. You will never see reading over 0, unless your engine is boosted.
-
#4When the engine is not running it read atmospheric pressure, which is around 0, on see level and going down when the altitude is higher.
-
#8It's running before throttle body. Will leave it, just wanted to know if it was normal or not lol.Quote:If the engine is running idle your throttle is closed.

Yes ofc it's boosted, why on earth wold i fit a gauge if it wasn't? lmao1 user thanked this post: -
#9It has to be after the throttle body. Are you sure it's before? If it's before will not read vacuum.

#10yes im sure, its coming off the inlet where the old breather pipes were attached to
