fitting of jp4 covers

How many people have fitted these to the standard engine bay? I want to fit mine at the weekend and want to know what people did with the breather pipes ie the big one that somehow needs to be connected to the air box and the little pipe that ideally wants to go to tb

Been told a good easy way to sort the little breather is to cut it off and plug the hole and then somehow plug the little hole in tb if so what have people used? Or is bit of flexible pipe better to connect it up properly?

And secondly I would assume I can just cut the big breather off under the coilpack cover so its hidden and leave the connection on the air box open (assuming the connection is.pre airfilter ie so it doesn't matter if it sucks in air

Just looked.at my engine bay and I don't even have the little pipe that connects.the camcover to the tb so that hole in the tb has been left open for some time with no apparent issues also the out let on the air box points down and the jp4 breather points upwards so they should be fairly easy to connect up via a joiner of some kind

Think I've figured it help via gav on fb showing me a pic looks like a length of vacuum hose is needed for the little breather and the big breather can be inserted in to the rubber U on the airbox after a bit of chopping

Anyone no of any shops that sell appropriate vacuum piping?

I ran mine for a few weeks without any breather piping at all (yol0)
Yes the idling was high but the car ran fine fuel wise etc. I now have the breather piping on and one of those crappy filters cable tied on the end. Gav has seen it and laughed

just incase any one is interested or searches for this in the future few pics
    old dirty j4 covers

    new jp4

i cut the rubber u and the jp4 breather down so they could slot in to each other and i cut the smaller pipe down just waiting on a piece of vacuum hose to connect it to the t/b

I used a 16mm ID silicon elbow for the large one (cut to size)
    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...E:L:OC:GB:3160

And 8mm ID silicon hose for the smaller one.
This should really be swapped for some 7mm or possibly 6mm at some point

cheers for that very handy knowing the sizes, i was wondering what ID i needed for the smaller pipe, if i had a fiver buring a hole in my pocket id go for the black 16mm ID hose but im happy with how mine is at the mo, its in very tight
