   Is it bad if I say that looks terrible - as in graphics wise - not too fussed about the metallic - just the pictures look shocking!

   It isnt mettalic it's chrome. And how do you mean by shocking?

   Chrome - is silver - technically not chrome but I get your drift
   And it all just looks to focused on some things and not enough on others - looks like ps2 standards to me? Might just be that car though?
   Like the headlights are really detailed but the door handles look like a cartoon?

   I actually agree with Dolby. The buildings in the background look like cardboard boxes made to look like building...
   
   On top of that, the lighting just looks wrong.

   It may well be the lighting that's throwing my perception then - what I'd expect to see, isn't what's being shown - looks nigh on cartoonish - try another car! Maybe matte?

   You can edit the exposure etc on the photo.. i haven't on the top one. None of the premium car's are cartoony. lol.

    That's the aperture. Also, the boot on the Megane isn't flat like the Clio. It curves around alot more on the Megane.

    It's on par with a next gen game and you can't quite grasp that. I'll post the actual smoke from a drift soon too seen as Forza 5 lack it.

    Gunna be honest, im not dazzled and amazed by these graphics. To say they are bad is stupid, but they arent that much better than GT4, just a little more attention to detail.
    They are moving in the correct direction, but im yet to confuse one of these screen shots with a real picture.

    I thought the previous Forza looked a lot better than GT, its annoying that GT has premium/standard cars. You can tell the difference in graphics at a stupid level. But I also don't see the point in a driving game that looks mint but lacks drive characteristics etc.
    
    GT doesn't look as good as Forza, but its a lot better of a driving game. I hope its the same for the new ones.
    
    P.S wtf is up with all the shit chrome paint?

    I did agree with you until this morning. Polyphony have been using their current equipment for 8 years. The One is a brand new system to work with. Those images that John posted last night are genuinely laughable for something they've worked on for so long.

    Thing is about gran tourismo is they focus more on gameplay and the driving rather than the graphics. I'd rather have a really good game with not so good graphics then the other way around. I haven't played the new forza to compare tho lol

    I agree with the fact that they have just upped there attention to detial about 5%, but if I was GT I would of at least made all cars Premium, then they could be on par with Forza again, but with the backing pictures, Forza +1 also, it seems GT still dont consentrate on the background very well, I enjoyed Forza 4 alot, with the tuning of vehicles and other little bits, but GT also had other thibgs I enjoyed, just wush theyd uo there game!
