Got a MK2 VTR, in talks of 16v'ing it, Mods are the usual, Saxsport, decat, induction kit, omex limiter, lowered and so on, now I've been offered a Newman PH3 for my VTR for a good price, but is it worth keeping the 8v and camming it or will a 16v still spank all over it? confused on what to do really, still using the VTR Gearbox which i do want to change to either a 1.1 or VTS Box in the future if i keep it 8v
16v or cammed vtr?

#216v it, not worth taking the head off for a cam in the 8v imo.
Also I have 2 vts gearbox's for sale -
#3a vts in standard form still has more power than a cammed vtr.
Is it not worth 16v'ing it if your after power then go from there? -
#4Thats what i was thinking, I have the 3 Plug ECU though so finding 3plug loom and ecu is a pain in the arse!

#5I have a 3 plug loom for sale & buy a cheap locked 3 plug ecu and I can unlock it

#68vs can be made interesting but it'll probably cost you more to do
