    Probably sound alright.

With a centre silencer and cat it will only make a tiny burble at idle and be almost unnoticeable.

not really. It will be steel and will rust. The way its built is cheap and cheerful as well. Its going to need welding on as its not got a flange to fit to a centre pipe and will use some kind of universal bracket to clamp round it to hang it on the car, which most likely will need to be bent into the right shape. Both Piper and Supersprint backboxes will go straight on.

I am biased as I designed the current Supersprint Backbox but there you go

No reason proper hangers can't be welded on and heat proof painted to keep it protected, fair enough it's only steel but if you drop it off every year and give it abit of attention ur it back re paint it with heat proof paint I can't see any reason why it wouldn't last, it's the same as anything you look after it and it will look after you I can't comment on sound/performance as I don't have one but I'm sure someone will take the plunge and buy one to let us all know how it is sooner or later

Can't knock it till you tried it

sadly thats just not true. It will be thin metal. You will need to add re-enforcing plates to the outside and weld the hanger to them.
As for rust. Your paint wont protect it much as it will rot from the inside out, but most likely it will be metal fatigue that will be the first weld up job as it lacks strengthening in certain places.
Theres a reason why its cheap. Its simply made to be cheaper.
